Product Code: TG-5 Price: Check Latest TG-1 Cascade Thermal Guard is a thermal insulating coating made up of air filled glass beads held in suspension by a high temp latex acrylic binder.  This advanced material yields superior insulating capabilities. ThermaGuard is a premixed composite consisting of 80% microscopic air filled glass beads.  These precisely manufactured beads are held in suspension by a high-grade latex acrylic emulsion.  This combination yieldss a lightweight, pliable product, which expands and contracts with the surface to which it is applied.  Two standard coats (15 mil ea.) will yield an R24 equivalent insulation value. ThermaGuard is suitable for just about any insulating application.  Typical applications are vehicle firewalls, floors and roofs, engine compartments, AC ducts and walls.  Basically anywhere you would want to insulate from heat or cold ThermaGuard can be used.
